MaxaMillion's Story...
AVAILABLE 04-13-15 MaxaMillion is a handsome boy who was brought to the Shelter on April 13, because his owner could no longer care for him. MaxaMillion is a playful 3 year old who likes treats and to cuddle. He's been neutered and his shots are up to date. He tested negative for heart worm disease and is on preventative. Max is all muscle, but for his size and strength he's not too bad on leash once he gets out of the gate at the Shelter. He's housetrained and will go to the door when he needs to go out. According to his owner MaxaMillion will sit and give his paw when asked. Max would do well in a home with a fenced yard where he could run and play then come inside for a nap and some quiet time. He would probably also enjoy running with his owner. If you think MaxaMillion might be the dog for you or your family please come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City and meet Max.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MaxaMillion, a Elizabeth City American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Elizabeth City, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Elizabeth City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elizabeth City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elizabeth City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elizabeth City paves the way for another one to be saved.
