Lola, Pip & Riley's Story...
Please visit our main website for information about our adoption procedure. http://www.whimsys-menagerie.com/adoptioninformation.htm

These three girls are litter mates and approximately 8 years old. Pip is blind in one eye, but that doesn't slow her down at all. The trio came to us severely fur chewed and in a cage that was much too small for them. We were told they went through phases in fur chewing. Since their time with us we have upgraded their cage, given them plenty of chew toys and unlimited access to hay and high quality pellets. This basic care has ceased the fur chewing and they are now almost completely recovered.

The girls are all exceptionally friendly. They are attention hogs and are shameless in their begging for treats. We know that they LOVE vine products. They have proven a wonderful resource to dump all of our rejected vine thingies that are too ugly to make into our regular chew toys. Thanks girls!

The trio are now ready for their forever home. We are looking for someone who can provide consistent, loving care. They come with their upgraded cage.

Adoption fee: $200 complete with cage and accessories.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, Pip & Riley, a Virginia Beach Chinchilla was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinchilla for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Chinchilla from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinchilla breeders who help with Chinchilla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
