Frosty has been with us here at the Menagerie for a couple of years. Until recently she was housed with mean-tempered Dusty. While the two of them tolerated each other, we would not necessarily say they were "bonded". The mismatched pair often received plenty of inquiries, until Dusty's temperament turned off any potential adopter. So in order to give Frosty a chance at going to a forever home, we made the difficult decision to split the pair and try Frosty with a different cagemate.

The decision was a great one!

Cinder is a very young, very friendly, energetic little female. She came to us as a single and always showed a good, healthy interest in the chins caged beside her. After a slightly rocky initial intro, the two are sweetly bonded. Frosty finally has a cuddly buddy who won't kack and spray her (or anybody else) with urine, and Cinder finally has her own friend.

The two are very, very nice sweet chins. They would be perfect for an owner new to chinchillas.

Adoption fee: $150 for the pair.
