Cosima-Adopted!'s Story...
Cosima is a sweet girl who loves her people and does well with other dogs who like to play. She is a young dog who thrives on daily exercise and training. She walks beautifully on a harness and would make a great running partner. Cosima is incredibly smart, has gained skills such as "sit," "down," and "in your crate," very quickly, and is completely house and crate trained. After her daily exercise, she is happy to cuddle with her people on the couch. Although she does well with older children, we feel a home without tiny kids is best as she becomes a little excited and jumpy from time to time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cosima-Adopted!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
