These two are a fantastic duo who will make one family very lucky!
Roxy and Mingus are 8 year old American Bulldogs who are looking for their forever home here in Portland, Oregon.
Roxy and Mingus have been loved members of the family, but with their new human brother severely allergic, they must unfortunately find a new home to spend the rest of their days in. Mingus and Roxy are both wonderful dogs, who love to lay out in the yard, chase squirrels, and spend time with their humans. Both dogs are good with all humans, and with short introductions, both are good with cats as well and have lived with a cat in the home.
Mingus, the male of the group is a little smaller at only 90 pounds. Mingus is a sweet boy who is very athletic and loves to play, but only in short bursts. Mingus is a strong boy, who needs to walk with a halti or will pull quite hard. Mingus' favorite past times when he isn't playing is laying around in the sun and soaking up some rays, while also getting plenty of belly rubs. Mingus does well with other dogs, but is not a dog who can go to dog parks and would really prefer to spend most of his time with his sister, Roxy. Mingus is loyal and loving, and is a very well behaved boy who knows lots of tricks like sit, stay, down and shake!
Roxy, the female of the group, is a little larger at 120 pounds! Roxy is gentle, sweet and loyal. She loves to sit around with her people and loves belly rubs even more. Roxy gets along well with other dogs after a brief introduction, and loves to go out on the town with her people. Roxy is very eager to please as well, and will do just about anything you ask, especially if there is a treat involved! Roxy is the life of the party and loves to be the center of attention!
Roxy and Mingus have spent their whole lives together and are very attached to one another. Their humans are already devastated that they must find them a new home, and are asking that they at least get to spend the rest of their days together, so this adoption means two dogs for one family!
