Duncan's Story...
Hi, I am Duncan, I am a smart boy. I am shy at first to strangers but I warm up quickly. I love my foster brothers and would really like to go to a home with another dog that will play with me. I have had training and do great. I would like for whoever adopts me, to continue training with my trainer if they can. I know shake, wave, sit, come, stay. I am potty trained and walk well on a leash. Not sure how i am ith cats. I can't go to a home with children. I may of been hurt by them in the past and its best that I go to an adult only house.
If your interested in adopting me please fill out an application at our website

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duncan, a San Diego Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
