Quiver's Story...

QUIVER was pulled from Corpus Christi Animal Care Services (Animal Control) and is currently in a foster home. He is a black/white rat terrier mix who is approximately 5 months old. His Foster Mom says: Quiver is adorable and gets along great with all – dogs, children and adults. He really enjoys playing with the other two dogs in the home. He “smiles” all the time and has the cutest little overbite. Quiver is learning to walk on a leash and is very well mannered. He had so much fun playing outside this past weekend with his foster family and really enjoys being around people and other dogs. After lots of playtime, he needed some cuddle and nap time. Quiver is a total sweetheart!!

QUIVER is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate shots and is microchipped. His adoption fee has been sponsored. If you are interested in adopting QUIVER, please submit your application online at and if approved, arrangements will be made to meet him. Please text (361) 438-3232 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quiver, a Corpus Christi Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
