Alona is a sweet puppy! She is friendly, loves people, good with dogs of all sizes, and playful with children.

Alona is a super sweet, friendly and happy puppy. She is doing very well in her foster home. Alona has a mellow temperament; she follows commands very well. She is very motivated by food; her favorite game is playing fetch. She is potty trained on newspapers. Her foster mom always praises Alona as the smartest girl! With basic training and proper socialization, Alona will make a great family dog as she is so sweet and loving.

Alona and her litter mates were abandoned in a remote country side of the city when they were only a couple months old. Luckily, they were spotted by a rescuer who picked them up and sent them to the vet for a full check up. Alona and her litter mates received very good care in their foster homes. They are now all healthy and ready for a loving home.

Alona is a sweet and loving puppy who can make a great addition to any family. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alona, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
