Meet Oakley is about 6 years old yellow lab mix and is an absolute SWEETIE! He is very loving and wants to be with people. He enjoys carrying "a baby" in his mouth and is so proud when you comment on his baby.
Oakley is calm, crate trained, house trained and walks very nicely on lead. If you like to take road trips Oakley is your guy, he loves to go for car rides! He is shorter in his legs than a typical Lab and is on the stocky side.
Oakley prefers a home without chaos, it can make him anxious. It is recommend that a home without small children would be best for Oakley.
Oakley does well with other dogs and is good with the cats in his foster home.
He came to Lucky Lab Rescue heartworm positive and was successfully treated. Oakley has been fully vetted, neutered, on heartworm and flea preventative. If Oakley is your perfect companion please fill out an application at luckylabrescue.com and mention Oakley in the notes section.
