My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POSTING FOR PUPPYMILL RESCUE, INC. (www.puppymillrescue.com)

I would love to introduce you all to my newest foster baby. Please welcome Molly to the PMR family! She is an 11.2 lb black and white Shih Tzu that is estimated to be 4-6 years old. Molly is a bit timid but is staying out around us as she gets used to the house and the other kids. She was hiding under the kitchen table after I brought her home, but that didn't last too long and has now found a favorite spot cuddled next to my piano! A music lover!!

Everybody has done really well so far getting to know her. They really haven't been phased too much by her so far, and she seems to like all of them! Molly has moments when she runs around with the other pupsters, but then remembers that she is a little afraid and retreats to her favorite spot. I do believe that it will take her no time at all to be comfortable in the house and with everyone here.

Molly loves her food and will especially come close to me when it's time to eat or have a treat. Her tail wags away when she smells dinner!

Molly is doing fairly well learning to potty where she should, and seems to understand potty pads. She goes outside, but is still working on how to do the stairs and the ramp. They frighten her a bit.

She went to the groomer to have her first real haircut, and when she was done we had to wait for her foster sister. One of the ladies that works in the shop carried her around for about 45 minutes and she just cuddled into her shoulder. She is afraid to come to you, but when she is being held does not seem to mind. Molly had a very bad haircut when we got her and I can't wait until her ears and tail grow back in - she is already a beauty and will be even more stunning!

Molly has to have a few more tests at the vet's and then be spayed before she is ready for her forever home. . She is being fostered in upstate NY near the Syracuse area. If you are interested in adding Miss Molly to your family please contact her foster mom at rescuejust1@yahoo.com
