Penny's Story...
Pretty Penny is available for adoption. She was born Nov 3rd 2014 and believed to be a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. She was born with a fistula, which in short means her pipes used to eliminate waste had merged into one. She received surgery to correct this birth defect and with a proper diet of quality food and measured feedings she will keep a healthy and happy tummy. She will need continued patience with potty training as she is a 6 month old puppy. Penny is an energetic lovable little girl that loves to follow you from room to room and she aims to please her human family. Does great with dogs and cats and loves to play with an animal companion. Tug of War is one of her favorite games. Penny is current on her shots, she has been spayed, and microchipped and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Ogden Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
