My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All her pups have been adopted and now it is sweet Mama's turn. She is an absolute sweetheart of a dog. She is about 1 years old and looks to be a Cocker Spaniel mix. She gets along with everyone, little or big, furry or not. She really is the perfect family dog and is very submissive. She is even fully housetrained. Mama has been through a lot and did everything she could to take care of her pups in a very heavy kill shelter. She has an old leg injury that didn't heal quite right in her back leg but it doesn't slow her down. She learned to use it just fine and if it can't keep up she just picks it up and continues three legged. She is fast as lightning, and runs and jump just fine. We have had it evaluated by two different vets and both felt it was not concerning and would not require surgery. We want to find a loving family who will look past her wobbly leg and see her for the gem she is. She requires a fenced yard, to be an inside dog and a home where she will not be left alone during the work week. One By One is a Flower Mound based non profit rescue.
