Hi there! My name is Asher. I'm about 2 years old and I weigh 69.8 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the East Liverpool area. It was late at night and I was out roaming the neighborhood. I was left to my own devise and thought it would be fun to run up to people and bark at them. I'm just a big ol' happy go lucky sissy boy, but some people misread my bark as aggression and called the pound to come get me.
When the pound came out, I was nothing but sweet!! My body was relaxed and my tail was waggin' a mile a minute! I hopped into her car and rode in her kid's booster seat the whole way to the pound!
I had a little pocket of fluid by my left eye. The pound took me to the vet and they poked a needle in there and drained it all out. Now it looks great! The vet said it likely formed due to some type of trauma.
I am a very super sweet and happy boy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE people!! I am very, very playful boy.
I get along well with the other dogs that I have met here a the pound so far. I met a cat at the vet clinic and I barked at the cat so the pound is thinking that I may not be good with cats.
I seem to be housebroken or mostly housebroken and I am very clean in my kennel and I don't have any accidents in my kennel at night.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
