Bonne Bell's Story...
This one-of-a-kind cutie is Bonne Bell and she is on the lookout for her loving forever home. She is a wonderfully sweet girl who loves to hop up into your lap where she can be pet. Bonne Bell is a very expressive girl who is quick to purr and make adorable little noises to illustrate how she feels. She came to us with a severe eye infection that has required treatment from our expert veterinary staff but she is now on the mend and ready to find her new home. Bonne Bell gets a little grumpy around other cats and would prefer to be the only cat. She might be able to live with just the right mellow male who won't challenge her. Bonne Bell would also prefer a home without any dogs because she would find them to be too overwhelming. She isn't the biggest fan of being held or restrained so she needs a home with older children or adults only who will respect her wishes. If Bonne Bell sounds like the cat for you, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application to spend some quality time with her today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonne Bell, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
