MEET HITCH! Hello .. my name is Hitch. I am believed to be a Labrador/Sharpei mix. I am about 3 1/2 months years old and my coat is black with little white markings on my chest. I am looking for a home with a family that appreciates the attributes of an active puppy. I know I am cute as can be, so it’s important to know that I do have a willful and feisty side to me. However, I do love affection, am known to give kisses and have a very sweet side to me too. Still in my developing stage, I am curious and love to explore. I may even find things you thought were lost and forgotten. Since I can be a rowdy pup, living in a home with older kids is a must, but I do love kids and being around people in general. Remember I am still a puppy, so I can be mischievous, need lots of attention and still have my puppy teeth. If you judge a dog’s potential size by the paws, I have big ones, so please expect that I will grow from a cute puppy to a handsome larger size dog. I love playing with other dogs and have been socialized with large and small dogs - I show no prejudice when playing with my fellow canines. I have had some potty training and have done pretty well, but am currently still in training. Also, I have had some behavioral training and do pretty well on a leash. I have discovered my bark and love to use it to get attention, which is not complimentary to apartment living. So, I would love to live in a home with a yard because I need the room to run around. Although I enjoy the outdoors, I am not interested in being an outdoor dog. Especially now because I am little - but mainly because I love to be around people and enjoy the comforts of indoor living. I have already been neutered, received most of my shots. and have been microchipped as well. I am looking for a family that is interested and committed to a lifelong relationship with me that will always have my best interest in mind. We will be together for years and it’s important that I am placed with an owner that will love me and take good care of me no matter what and include me as part of the family.
