My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in adopting or fostering Bob please e-mail Lisa @ info@therescuetrain.org *Please note we are listing Bob as special needs until he's recovered from his surgery which is shedule for 11/9/09. After than he will be a normal healthy kitty lover. Bob Needs An Angel! A Rescue Train Volunteer was walking her dog recently in Studio City when she heard a MEOW for help. There on the side of the road was a kitty we named Bob. He had been hit by a car and someone had wrapped him in a T-shirt and just left him. He had no ID tag, collar or micro chip. She swept him up and got him to The Rescue Train's vet, Dr. Nunez at Animal Medical Center. Bob was alert and pleading for help but had some seemingly serious injuries (some contusions to his lungs and dislocated hip). Dr. Nunez put him on supportive care and said let's wait and watch. We all held our breath. Long story short Bob wasn't ready to leave and quickly got 'out of the woods'. In fact he's aimed to make a full recovery and he's stolen the hearts of the whole vet staff at AMC. When I call to check on him I hear words like 'Lover Muffin, Big Sweetie & Funny Guy, Mr. Personality etc. Bob needed to be stabilized for a few weeks and now he's strong and healthy enough to get a surgery called an FHO to put his hip back in place. The Rescue Train has searched for his possible owner but now one has show up for him. Bob is in great need of a loving home or temporary FOSTER home. He will have some recovery time from his up coming surgery. He'll need a little TLC and to be confined to a small room (spare bathroom would be perfect) to restrict his movement while he heals. He's been at our vet for weeks now and is ready to get out. As you can imagine his vet bills are quite high for this surgery. He will fully recover and get back to being a full time lover kitty boy. He will need to be strictly indoor only for the rest of his life so nothing like this happens to him again. Bob is 5 years old, neutered ,vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/LUK. If you can be Bob's Angel please contact Lisa @ info@therescuetrain.org or call (323)899-5640. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation towards Bob's care please go to www.therescuetrain.org or mail to: The Rescue Train 11271 Ventura Blvd, #405 Studio City, CA 91604 The Rescue Train is dedicated to find Bob a happy ending! Thank you for your compassion.
