Otis's Story...

Looking for a big cuddle buddy?  A best friend to sit with you and watch the Saints game?  Need a hug at the end of a long day?  Otis is your guy.

Otis is young, about a year old.  He is a gentle boy with a very loving heart.  Otis hasn't met anyone he doesn't love.  He is an expert at hugs, both receiving and giving.

His favorite things include balls, kids, and cuddles.

Otis is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative (and on preventative).  He is housetrained and good on a leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otis, a Lafayette Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Lafayette, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Lafayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lafayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lafayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lafayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
