My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gemma in Italian means gem and this Gemma is a true gem. She's a year old boxer mix that was found as a stray and kept as a pet. Unfortunately one of the children in the family was allergic to her so they surrendered Gemma to Friendship. Gemma is already house trained and has manners in the home. She lived with older kids and 2 cats and was great with all of them. It's not known if she likes dogs or not but they don't seem to bother her at the shelter. She truly is a precious pup that would love to get back into a loving family. How about yours?

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
