Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rupert! This handsome man has a beautiful chocolate coat and golden eyes that will make you fall immediately in love. Rupert was actually adopted from the shelter years ago, but was found as a stray recently. Unfortunately, his family's phone number was disconnected and no one came looking for this poor guy. That's okay with Rupert, though, because he is living the life in his foster home! He absolutely loves going for walks, wrestling with his foster brother Sebastian, and (most of all!) getting pets from his humans. Rupert is extremely intelligent and is quickly learning commands! He was already house-, kennel-, and leash trained when he got to his foster home and is always excited to learn more. Rupert also has a long muzzle made for poking his people whenever he is not receiving enough attention. You will never have to wonder what this guy wants because he is always ready to tell you!
At around 6 years old, Rupert weighs in over 60lbs and would be ideal for a family wanting all the wonderful qualities of a lab without the puppy phase. He is great with other dogs and LOVES people. Because he is so attached to people, he would not be happy as an outside only dog, but doesn't mind lazing around with his family in the sun! Rupert does have an old injury that occasionally causing him to keep weight off his back leg, but he sure doesn't let it hold him back. He is always ready to wrestle or for a good game of fetch. Rupert simply wants a family to finally call his own. Are you that family?
All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
Rupert is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
