My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted lady from a farm, where she was intended to be a working dog. She was kept in an outdoor kennel 90% of the time. I do think she’d be a better fit as an indoor/outdoor dog where she can be outside most of the time. Our family situation has changed and not able to spend as much one on one time with her.
-House broken but cannot be trusted to be left alone inside unsupervised.
-Smart
-Trainable – knows sit, stay, come, laydown, house (inside)& potty (finish means poop)
- Very loving
-Will hang around without leash under supervision
-Good with kids and babies (will nip in a playful manner, our kids never minded)
-Has been around 2 indoor cats, does try to herd them.
-Knows what her kennel is and will go to willingly
-Doesn’t bark
-Wants to be a lap dog & sleep with you
-Loves car rides and will jump in any chance she gets
-Does hop a lot when outdoors and will dig
-Doesn’t care for doggy toys. Will not engage in playing fetch or chewing bones.
-Is scared around some dogs and comfortable with others.

A completed adoption application must be submitted to NBCR before you can be considered to adopt this dog. There is also a $180 adoption fee
