Sister's Story...
Want to take a dip in the lake? I love the water and I love to swim!

Sister was saved from a high kill shelter in western Tennessee. Circle of Hope scooped her up and took her to safety just in the nick of time. She has a beautiful coat of black shiny fur with brown highlights. At her foster home, she spends her time by the lake playing with the children and other dogs. She is easy going and so sweet! Sister is house and crate trained and does well on a leash. Make this lovely girl part of your family today!

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet loving happy and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates, it is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sister, a Cooperstown Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cooperstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Cooperstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cooperstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cooperstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cooperstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
