My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My purr will make your heart young again!

August has a quick and steady purr that will bring a smile to your face and heart.

August and her sister Colette were found as strays in an alley behind Orange Avenue. Their social skills needed honing and they needed to build up their trust in humans, so they were placed in foster homes.

Although still a bit shy, August has passed her classes in Feline Socialization with flying colors. It takes just a few moments for her to come out to say hello and as soon as you touch her, her motor starts.

She loves pets, playing and treats and will reward you with the most tender of loving allorubs when you give her any of these favorite things.

August would do best in a quieter home and would prefer the company of another feline.

Are you and your cat looking for another feline companion? One who will love you unconditionally and whose purr will fill your home with the most delightful music? Come meet August to see just what a sweet girl she is!

You can meet August at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting August, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.

If you have any questions, please contact the Cat Adoption Team online or call Bob at 619-840-9727.
