Carey is a super gentle, submissive, and sweet boy! Carey is doing well in his foster home since the first day he arrives. Carey is good with people and is very polite when meeting people. Carey loves all dogs and is great with both big and small dogs. He is also very gentle with the foster family’s son who is 8 years old. Carey will make a great family dog as he is a good boy.
Carey and his brother, Cassey were living as homeless puppies in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter. They were both starving and all you see are their ribs. A kind teacher was in the area and saw them and couldn’t leave them behind. She found her friends to help and lure them into a cage. They were rushed to the vet and had a complete checkup. Luckily, they were very healthy. The kind lady did not have much money to spend on them so they were stuck in tiny cages and didn’t get proper care at the vet. The lady tried really hard to post their story on Facebook and reached out to several rescue groups but no one was willing to help them. Through a friend’s referral, she found Carey’s now foster mom who is an experienced dog rescuer and found hundreds of dogs home. She knew it was urgent to take them home and promised to find them loving homes and hopefully a home together as they love each other very much!
Carey is a healthy boy and had his vaccinations, rabies shot, neutered and microchip. All he needs is for a family to open their hearts to them and give them a new life! Please give both Carey and Cassey a chance to live.
