Nola - Adopted's Story...
Sweet, sweet Nola is one of our senior dogs. She is a volunteer favorite and really would make a great family addition. She is so loveable with everyone and even likes to help out with the puppies. This girl does not deserve to be in a cage but rather a soft comfortable pillow to rest her head on. Stop by the shelter this week and visit with Nola and see why we think she is so special. Nola is eligible for the Senior-4-Senior discount which you can ask about at the front desk. Shelter hours are Monday - Friday, 12pm - 6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nola - Adopted, a Flint Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Flint, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Flint.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flint already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flint breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flint paves the way for another one to be saved.
