Duchess is a beautiful, sweet girl. She's middle aged so she's over the young husky hyperness. She can live with other dogs, though she should be supervised at first as she can be reactive, especially with young energetic dogs. She is probably not suitable for a home with cats. Duchess has a regal air about her, as if she should have her own little crown, and would like her own bed in your home.
Duchess is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite free and on prevention.

Our adoption fee is $350. The fee is a donation to help us pay for spay/neuter, vaccinations, parasite treatments if necessary, and microchip. Our dogs are housed in foster homes where they learn manners, such as housetraining.

About Alabama Siberian Husky Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to the rescue, treatment, and placement of Siberian Husky dogs in Alabama. We are an all volunteer (unpaid) organization that rescues Siberian Huskies because we love the breed.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We show dogs to approved adopters by appointment only.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters are required to complete an adoption application, provide personal and veterinary references (if have a current or past pet), and allow a home visit by an ASHR representative. Approval is decided by our Board of Directors.
Our adoption fee is $350. This helps to offset some of our costs in providing medical care for our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite free before adoption.
