Chase (POM-CD)'s Story...
Chase is a cute short legged guy looking for his new home. He and his siblings are all a year and a half old. They were all living together at a country farm in a big pen when their owner moved away and left them! The new person at the home called the rescue and we came and got them out and into foster care. Chase is the leader of the pack and is very outgoing. He is learning to walk on a leash because he has never had that experience before. We are confident that he'll make a great pet for an active family. Plus you will have miles of smiles just looking at him! He's too cute!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase (POM-CD), a Scranton Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Scranton, or seeking a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Scranton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scranton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scranton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scranton paves the way for another one to be saved.
