Izzie is a beautiful 6 year old, medium-sized lab mix who is calm, well-behaved, and has never had an accident in the house. She has anxiety when left alone so she needs someone who can commit to creating the right environment for her with our assistance. It is manageable and her former owners, who have had her since she was a puppy, had a system worked out. But they decided to have a baby and did not feel they had enough time to take care of both a child and a dog, so Izzie had to go. She is okay with other dogs who leave her alone, after a slow introduction in which she does not feel threatened. After an incident at a doggy daycare when she was young, she is very nervous that another dog miight hurt her. Izzie is not in the shelter, she is in a foster home in our Rescue Program, please call 410.880.2488 ext #3 or firstname.lastname@example.org
