My name is Beauregard or Beau for short and I was found running the streets with no place to call home until Animal Control picked me up; I sat in that cage waiting for 5 long days but my family never came for me and no one ever called looking for me. After day 5, when my stray hold was up, I was moved to another area in the basement which was a really sad place to be with so many other dogs there barking and crying … everyone just so scared; me included. I waited for 4 more torturous and agonizing days until finally this really nice lady came to get me and we took a car ride together where I went to meet another really nice lady, that really nice lady is now my foster mom.
Even though I have only been with my foster mom for a short while she says I am an awesome happy little man! I am everyone friendly! I get along with people and dogs and so far have been around older children without any issues
I love my walks and being outside
I did have an accident in the house but foster mama said that was fine and she just cleaned it up; she said that it was normal for me to be a little confused on house rules with all the changes in my life these last couple of weeks. So one little accident is not so bad so if you decide to bring me home please just be patient with me as I learn the rules – I do, do all my business outside though
CAA Rescue is looking for a volunteer groomer to help get me cleaned up so people can see what a pretty boy I am so better pictures of me are coming real soon. Foster mama did give me a good bath though because I was very dirty and I really liked that
I have not been left alone for any extended period of time as my foster mummy works from home plus I have two poodle friends to play with in foster care. Right now when I sleep at night foster mama crates me and I am doing just fine with that
I am a smart little man who knows how to give paw and sit. I am a very polite boy
It is obvious I was fed tons of junk food because I am a bit of a chunky monkey but with a good diet and exercise I will shed those couple of extra pounds real easy!
I am just a really happy guy! Happy to be ALIVE thanks to all the kind volunteers who came to help me when I needed them most. I have everything anyone would ever look for in a doggie companion for life:

My breed is a medium to high energy breed to I need people who like to walk and play and be active with me. I need my daily walks or jogs and attention
