Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are pretty obsessed with Simon's amazing eyebrows and fantastic mustache. Maybe he's trying to disguise himself as Groucho Marx? Or he's just the cutest guy ever. Despite being hit by a car and then dumped at a high kill shelter by his former owners, Simon is an all around happy, playful puppy. All healed from his scratches and in a wonderful foster home, our 11 lb. 11 month old Schnauzer mix is finding out what love and being a puppy is all about. Simon absolutely loves playing with his canine foster siblings in the backyard and we think he would flourish in a home with another dog. After a day of making mischief, Simon snuggles up to his foster mom and just when she thinks he's settled, he nestles in just a bit more to get as close as possible. Since his previous family didn't teach Simon much of anything, he is still working on mastering his potty training skills but he is completely crate trained. He can also be a little mouthy (he's always very gentle, just excited) when he first meets new people but he calms down quickly. Eager to please, he is working on obedience and so far his favorite command is "come" to which he responds by running at you full speed when you call his name. Simon is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and micrcochipped. If you are interested in adopting Simon, please fill out an application at ruffstarthappytails.org.
