Bambi's Story...
Hi there! My name's Bambi! I was recently found as a stray and brought to the shelter. Who knows what happened to my owners, I'm just happy to be in a safe place. They're guessing I'm a lab / shepherd mix, and am around 2-3 years old. Since I was a stray they don't know for sure though.

Prior to being adopted I will be up to date on vaccines, spayed, and will have a microchip. What I really need now is a loving home to call my own! Could YOU be the one I'm waiting for? The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bambi, a Youngwood Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
