My name is Inigo Montoya; prepare to have your heart stolen. I am a 13 Lb. black and tan Italian greyhound mix. I started my very important quest to find a forever home as a stray, on the mean streets of Los Angeles. After being taken to a shelter where my life was in peril (hey, I didn’t say it was always a safe quest) I was saved by staff from The Pet Rescue Center. Now that I’m here the next leg of my journey will be getting a home of my very own. Everyone at the center tells me that I’m a good dog and that I’m very sweet too so my questing days may soon be over. That’s ok by me, someone to cuddle up and share playtime with might be my best adventure yet.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
