Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ayyye matey Captain Jack Sparrow here: Aaargh, I was named for that guy in Pirates of the Caribbean because of my dashing good looks and the way I dance around when my foster mom is trying to catch me. I love the outdoors and don’t like to come inside. After all, I am a husky. I love to play and I like to play with your feet while you walk. Quick on my feet I am. I can be a rough player and some dogs don’t like my play style at first, but I usually manage to win them over as I am also quite charming. But I am not aggressive, just playful. I can be a bit mouthy, especially when I get excited which is most of the time. I love food and they call me "food motivated". That means that I will come inside or do something that you want me to do if you have something tasty for me to eat. I am comfortable in my crate for an 8 hour work day, but I will need a vigorous walk before you leave and after you come home. I have ALOT of energy b/c I am a young husky. Please educate yourself about my breed. I’m not like the Labrador that your neighbor has...I’m quite different. I am curious and like to explore new places and will try to do that on my own if you won’t take me. A four foot fence is easy for me to get over, so you should have a five footer or more unless you want to be outside with me all the time. I am learning how to walk nicely on a leash with a gentle leader because I like to pull. Isn’t that what huskies do? My foster mommy has a few of dogs in her house and I get along with most of them. Please visit this page frequently for updates as she gets to know me better. . I’m really not as bad as I sound….I’m just a young husky who needs a knowledgeable and patient owner. Are you that person?
