BAXTER's Story...
Meet BAXTER. He is a Pekingese, weighing about 10 pounds. He was found wandering on the streets. No one claimed him or responded to any signs. Not sure how that happened, as he is a great dog. He is approx. 3 years old. BAXTER is doing well with his house training, and will just need to learn his new family’s routine. He walks okay on a leash, but could use a little more TLC in regards to that, as he is eager to please. BAXTER is very good with children, has not been around cats. Gets along with other dogs, but he is a bit bossy so probably better suited as an “only child” or with a mellow dog. BAXTER is crate trained, neutered and up-to-date on all shots. He is a sweet pup who desires a forever family of his own.

We require an application, home check, contract, and adoption donation. BAXTER 's adoption donation is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BAXTER, a Mission Viejo Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
