Lavonne's Story...
This precious girl was surrendered to us by her owner when he made arrangements to move to FL and chose a residency that didn't allow pets. So, he couldn't take her with him. She has been terrified from the moment she arrived but has lately been fostered by our kitty whisperers and also with kittens (which can sometimes help). She is doing much better and her friendship can be bought with a can of Starkist! ;-)
This stunning girl so deserves a loving FOREVER home with someone who really means it this time. She really is sweet but just a little shy and would likely do best in a more quiet home. If you think you would be the perfect home for this amazing girl, contact us at FLUFFinfo@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lavonne, a Nashville Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
