Candy

Candy is our sweet senior girl. She was on death row at the kill shelter in Miami Dade. Imagine this little thing waiting to die down there. Terrified. Xtreme pulled her...had extensive dental work done. She has a few teeth left. It does not stop her from eating. Loves to be loved on.
She was adopted ...was part of a family for a few months. The family is having personal issues and returned Candy because their failures of life. We welcomed Candy back...but this little 6lb girl doesn't belong in rescue. She belongs in a very loving home....
UPDATE ON CANDY!!
Candy was previously in a home with a family. Unfortunately she was returned because there were problems between adults. Candy was used to sleeping in a warm bed and a child with special needs loving her. It broke our heart to have her returned.
In the meantime........
Let me explain about candy. She was x-rayed and they found a lump in the throat area . Our vet is almost certain it's cancer . At her age we will not do anything invasive . She also suffers from Xtreme arthritis and is on metacam and tramadol . Since she is a rescue we do not know her exact age and she does not act like a sick dog . Up until now we just assumed we would keep her in end of life care . Now we have received many inquiries about her. She is not a quiet little thing she's very active at about 10 pounds , she loves to chase my cat lol.
