My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Gemma! I am a two year old female Border Collie. My foster mom describes me as a low to moderate energy companion. She says I'm sweet! I like to play games such a fetch or with rope toys. I adore children, and spend the majority of my waking hours with my [human] foster sister who takes me out to play, rolls around with me inside and gives me lots of love and affection (my favorite!). I've never been tested with children under the age of five. Moving on to canines.... I like other dogs, large or small, male or female, young or old. I really have no preference! I like having a companion around, but am fine being an only dog as well. I love being outdoors, especially sunbathing on the deck; however, it is important to note that I still need some work on my recall. I get distracted pretty easily, but with the right training methods and some patience, I will learn this "recall" thing in no time! I am house trained, potty trained and crate trained. I'm so well behaved in the house that my foster family allows me free roam at night time. I never dig in the trash, chew on things or get on the furniture (except on the one piece of furniture I'm allowed on, and my most favorite one of all, my [human] foster sister's trundle bed.) I hope this tells you some information about me. If you'd like to consider making me a part of your family, please complete an Adoption Application. Once received, my foster mom will call you to discuss me in more details!
