Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Patrick
Age: Approx 6months | Weight: 33lbs
Breed: Pitbull Mix
Dogs: Yes | Cats: Dog Savvy | Kids: Older
Status: Available
Patrick is amazing! There really is no other way to describe this puppy. He started out with a rough life, severely burned with abrasive chemicals and dumped by his humans… yet he remains so sweet and so trusting.
Patrick is very much a puppy and we suspect that he is likely closer to 6 months of age than his listed 8 months. He is learning what it is to be a loved and respected part of the family and enjoying it! Patrick loves his daily walks and adventures, playing with his toys and sunbathing! Patrick is currently in care with a small dog (Italian greyhound mix) and 2 children where he has flourished. He is working diligently on his training skills and has figured out most of the basics such as Sit, Stay, Wait, Off, and of course this smart guy has mastered housetraining!! Patrick is good on the leash and has a gentle approach when meeting other dogs. He has even had a couple of play dates with a labrador and retriever!
Being that Patrick has such a wonderful foundation we want to see him in a home that is prepared to continue his training to ensure that he grows up to be a wonderful, social and well adjusted breed ambassador.
If you feel you can give Patrick his new leash on life, please connect with us!
**Please note that at this time we are unsure whether or not all of his fur will grow back in.
