Princess's Story...
Princess is a beautiful brown tabby girl who loves to run right up to her person and jump in their lap! Princess is incredibly outgoing and friendly. She’s got lots of confidence and comes right up to new people, head butting and rubbing herself up against everyone. She’ll soak up all the love she wants, and then she’ll go lay by the window and bird watch for a bit. Princess wants to be part of your royal family, she’ll reign over you home with lots of love! She gets along well with children and does well with other cats in her foster home, but she doesn’t need a feline companion in her new home.

Princess is a super sweet cat looking for her fairy tale ending. She has a little white chin that is perfect for scratching while being rewarded with her happy purrs, and green eyes that are always full of contentment. Princess doesn’t need to go to a castle, your home is the perfect place for her!

Princess was born in April 2012. She has been spayed, micro-chipped, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and is up to date on all her shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
