Memphis is a male Poodle mix approximately 2 years in age. He has a soft coat of white curls that are non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Memphis currently weighs 15 pounds but is a bit underweight from being stray. His ideal adult weight is going to be 18-20 pounds. Poor Memphis came into a very high-volume/high-kill shelter starving and neglected. He beautiful coat had to be shaved completely due to severe matting. In a short amount of time, his snowy white curls will grow back out long and gorgeous. Memphis is a dog very eager to please his people. He is super submissive and will do anything to make you happy. He tries so hard - its sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. Memphis has probably never known a warm home or love and he wants it so badly. He will be the best boy ever if you open your heart and your home to him. Memphis is good with other dogs and with kids. He is learning about toys and although he currently loves a good meal the best, he is starting to show interest in soft doggie beds and squeaky stuffed toys. Memphis walks well on leash and will stick close to your side for reassurance when out and about. He will no doubt blossom into a great young dog with some love and consistent care. He is healthy and is learning the routine of a normal household. Memphis is a smart dog and is a true rescue. He will be the most grateful, loyal pet you've ever owned! Memphis is ready for his new forever home today.
Memphis’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Memphis is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Mary B. and is ready for his forever home.
