Omar


Meet Omar an 11 pound, 2 year old male Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Omar is looking for a home where he will be the only dog.
Omar was rescued from a local animal shelter to help them make room for other animals.

Omar is a sweet boy who enjoys belly rubs, rides in the car and toys of all kinds (he loves to collect them into a pile). He walks fair on a leash using a harness. He adores women and wants to be with them. He will follow you from room to room. He loves to sit on your lap and snuggle down for a nap. He's not crate trained and prefers to sleep in bed with his foster mom . He has decided that cats are fun to chase, so a cat-free home is preferred.

Omar is looking for a home where he can spend most of his time inside with his favorite person. He is a little leery with men and prefers to be with women. He would do best in a home without small children or cats. It takes him a few days to get used to other dogs in the home, but once he does, he's fine with them.

Omar is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, received age-appropriate vaccinations, is on flea and heartworm prevention.

His adoption fee is only $75.
