I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Sissy's Story...
With lots of tears, I was brought to the Heartland Pet Connection to begin a new life. I have been a breeding mom. My loving and nurturing spirit made me the perfect mother for many little babes. I have a soft and shy temperament. Being a nice quiet addition to your family is my dream. I am recovering from mammary surgery and an extensive dental. Tumors like mine are very common in unspayed females. This is another very good reason to spay and neuter your pets.
I weigh 45 pounds and am really looking forward to my new life with you. ***I have been micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Hastings Wheaten Terrier/Gordon Setter dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Gordon Setter for sale in Hastings, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Gordon Setter dog from a breeder in Hastings.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hastings already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hastings breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Gordon Setter breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Gordon Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hastings paves the way for another one to be saved.
