Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Hippo and I hope to get a new name along with a new owner by being here, in the Kitty Connection Rescue Room. I was discovered living under a porch and brought to KC by a local Animal Control Officer. I am an all black, short furred older boy (approx 10-12 years of age) and my fur was so severely matted that I had to be shaved and I now sport a “lion cut”. I am EXTREMELY sweet…. love, love, LOVE to be petted, and will roll over to have my (shaved) belly rubbed. I am one big hunk of love who cannot get enough! I don’t remember how I ended up lost and living under a porch, but I am happy to be getting a second chance at a wonderful life with, perhaps, you!!!
