Angus's Story...
Angus the judge. Named after a judge in Colusa or Glenn county. Angus is my new love! The amazing boy has been through so much in his life. Angus was used as research for college from age 12 weeks until he was just over a year old, he just turned two. We have had angus down at Chris's house since July of last year when we pulled him. He was part of a litter of 11 all were born to go to this research lab. All the siblings were adopted. Angus was much too shy for adoption. Fast forward almost a year and I love this kid. He has been at my house and has done amazing. Angus is house trained and bombproof with any cat or dog. Excellent on a leash very quiet. I might have heard him bark twice, while outside. He needs time to understand a home and would do best to have a dog friend show him how to be a dog. Loves the couch and can food. Learning how to ride in the car, but gets car sick. He is neutered, microchipped and current in vacs and rabies. He needs a soft quite but somewhat active home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Redding Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Redding, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Redding.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redding already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redding breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redding paves the way for another one to be saved.
