Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bentley!
Bentley is an extremely energetic and playful terrier mix who will be 2 in August. He loves playing ball (for hours), and is very intelligent! Bentley learns visual and verbal cues quickly, but can be a little stubborn!
This sweet boy needs a home where someone is going to dedicate a lot of time to him, and exercise him daily. He can get into mischief if he does not receive the attention and redirection he needs. Bentley is good with other dogs, but it is believed he would do best as the only pet. He is house trained and crate trained, and he finds comfort in his crate. He has always done well around children, but does not always enjoy being handled, so children over age 12 are probably best.
Bentley’s adoption fee is $100 and he is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
