Brego's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Brego's Story...
Brego is a big, beautiful boy with a rich, sable coat. He has a friendly and outgoing personality, and loves to meet new people. He gets along great with other dogs, and enjoys playing with them. He is highly intelligent, and learns quickly. Due to an accident, his leg had to be removed. However, it hasn't seemed to slow him down one bit. He still loves to play fetch, and he runs and plays enthusiastically with other dogs. Brego is house trained and crate trained, and knows several obedience commands. He is very protective of his foster family's house and yard. After play time, Brego loves to just relax with his people.

His foster mom says, "My favorite thing about Brego is his resilience. All of our rescue dogs have to be resilient, but Brego got dealt an extra tough hand, and he came through like a champ. Now that he's healed, he would love to show you the wonders of a tripod dog."

Please fill out an application and ask to meet Brego. He will be happily waiting to meet you.

Special Considerations for Adoption:

Brego lost his left front leg in an accident. He is still able to run and play on three.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brego, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
