Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mahi-Mahil! We were told her mom is a lab by the Good Samaritan who found these pups and took her and her siblings to the vet. (He also fed them fish scraps, which is why they are named after fish!) Mahi-Mahi is a shy but incredibly sweet little girl, who already knows to potty outside. She is good with other dogs, and great with kids. Although shy at first, she just loves attention and affection, and is happy sitting in your lap or having her belly rubbed for hours on end!
She is currently 12 weeks old and weighs about 18 pounds.
Because she is still young, she should not be left alone for long hours and will need a stay-at-home person to continue her housebreaking, socialization and general obedience. She will be ready for puppy school soon after adoption. You can meet Mahi-Mahi at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first. Her date of birth is 2-14-15 and her adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, distemper combo and bordetella vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick preventative, heart worm preventative, microchip and spay.
