My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB April 22, 2004

Lily is an easygoing gal who often seeks out attention. And she can be a chatty girl when she wants attention, and has a wide variety of meows. She was a stray picked up by TAS, but very likely lived in home for many years, as she is very domesticated. She has exhibited some petting aggression, but as long as you are aware that it's possible and you don't overdo it, you’ll be fine. She'll happily climb into your lap and purr while you give her some lovin’.

Lily will likely avoid purchased toys and go straight for things lying around your house. In her foster's case, hairbands are constantly going missing!

She still has a a drippy eye that her foster has been treating with L-lysine supplement in her wet food. She is also overweight, so she should be on a weight loss meal plan and she should be moving around as much as possible.

It’s not sure how she would interact with other dogs and cats, but it should not be ruled out. The petting aggression likely won't work with very small children. However, if a responsible child is taught to treat kitty with gentle patience, it could be a perfect fit. Lily acclimatizes herself very easily to her surroundings, so a warm family could be just what she needs.

Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice appreciated, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.
