My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Murray. And he’s not perfect. He was never socialized as a puppy, so he never learned some important things. Like strangers aren’t bad. And the world outside isn’t so scary. He barks when he’s nervous. Sometimes he shuts down.

This is Murray. His eyes light up when he sees someone he loves. He bonds more deeply than any dog his foster parents have met. His ears go back and he can’t control his body with the excitement. Being carried around like a toddler is his preference.

This is Murray. His best friend is his foster brother. He panics when he can’t find him and is happiest frolicking by his side. He’ll need a buddy in his forever home. One who won’t mind a shadow. That will love to play, but will know when to walk away.

Murray’s not perfect, but he will be the perfect dog for the right person. He loves deeply and completely. He wears his big heart on his little paw. He may never be the pup who runs up and licks your face upon first meeting, but once he knows you're safe (maybe with the help of a little American cheese), he will be the dog that will never leave your side. A forever best friend – that is Murray.
