Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MARLEY #5 is a 1 year old spayed female yellow Lab that weighs 36 pounds. She is a smaller lab with a friendly personality who loves human companionship. She is good with other dogs and is working on her house training. Marley does not need to be crated and enjoys sleeping in her foster parents' bed every night. Since she is fun-sized, she doesn't take up much room. She is extremely affectionate and is enthusiastic about treats and meals. She enjoys chewing on a good antler and is getting the hang of fetching. At first she did not like to be outdoors and would hurry right back to the door after being let out with the other dogs, but now she is starting to enjoy exploring the yard. Marley does not beg at the table and walks well on the leash. She would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not as she gets very attached to her people. Marley is approved for kids ages 10+.
Update (5/28): Marley continues to be a super pup who is a complete love bug. We still have not gotten over how cute it is to have a full-grown lab who is so petite! She has started to play with the tennis ball when the resident ball hog will let her, and her curiosity has helped her to get over her concerns about the strange noises that come from squeaky toys. She is starting to enjoy playing fetch now that her days in the cone of shame are behind her. Marley also enjoys showing off the commands she knows, because whether the reward is treats or praise, she loves both. For a young dog, she is extremely laid back and is a wonderful companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She is not a high energy dog, is good on the leash, and settles down easily.
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.
