Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MY NAME IS ISABELLE!
I was rescued from the shelter when I was only three weeks old. I have been around
a big family and am quite a friendly girl.
If Feral Cat Rescue had not taken me from the shelter, it is most likely I would have been euthanized because I can't be adopted until I am eight weeks old and there are so many cats that they would have needed to put me to sleep because of all the cats coming to the shelter. In 2014, 205 cats were euthanized per month. This is largely due to the fact that people are not spaying and neutering the cats they are feeding. Over the last seven years that number has been reduced from 550 per month to 205 per month due to something known as TRAP NEUTER RETURN MAINTAIN. If people see feral cats, they need to borrow a trap and get the cats fixed right away.
Cats can have 3 to 4 litters per year. I am talking to you about this because I had a very
close brush with death because of this.
Now I am being well taken care of and will be ready to go to my new home when I am 8 weeks old.
Will you give me that home? I am super friendly and loving. I am however a little spit fire.
I am just fully of personality. I was born April 15th, 2015. Please fill out an application at
www.feralcatrescuemd.org and email it to diane@feralcatrescuemd.org
I love you already,
Isabelle
